The Fish Symbol

In the wake of the persecution of the early church, the picture of the fish became a symbol for the Christians.          

They used it as a (secret) sign or symbol or password to show that they are Christians.  

The Greek word for fish is ichthus. 

Ichthus  was used as an acronym, also referred to as the first confession,

by  the Greeks: Iesous Christos Theou Uios Soter.   meaning

                       Jesus Christ son of God our Savior.

 The vision and objective of Christcalls is to provide pins for Christians to:

• Wear a visible, subtle, patriotic Christian logo.
• Remind themselves of their faith during their everyday lives.
• Recognize other Christians (from all over the world) and share faith with them.
• Have a conversation “starter” to talk to non-Christians who sees the logo – connecting tool.
